Looking for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for 3 Weekends / Month - Night Shifts

Highlights :

Level 3 NICU team with an amazing reputation

Weekend coverage- Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights 8pm - 8am. NO CALL

13 weeks – open to NP working 3 weekends / off 1 week (or if you have someone to split the shifts with, open to a pair of Neonatal NP's)

Job Responsibilities

CASES :

Infants include babies born before 32 weeks of gestation.

Premature infants can have respiratory distress - needing ventilators.

Will provide care to infants needing surgery for various medical or congenital conditions

Infants needing comprehensive life support and advanced treatments

Qualifications

NNP (Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) and CNP certified Nurse Practitioner, RN active license in SD or compact state license

NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS

Prefers 2-3 years of experience working in a NICU

High preference for Level 3 Center

Working Hours

8PM - 8 AM

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

3 weekends a month, 1 week off.

No call, rare overtime.

Skills

Prematurity, respiratory issues, congenital abnormalities, infections, low birth weight, GI disorders, neonatal asphyxia, hypothermia, etc.

42 Bed NICU, average census of 30 - 32.

Experience in Level 3 Center

\nTravel expenses reimbursed - lodging, mileage and / or flights.
