Firestopping Inspector, Entry Level
Braun Intertec is seeking a Firestopping Inspector, Entry Level to join our White Bear Lake, MN location.
The person will also be assisting in the quality control of the processes for inspection and will need to help in the performance of the inspections in new construction.
Responsibilities
- Receive training, execute firestop inspection policies / procedures and technical processes, including field inspections and reporting of firestop applications
- Implement internal firestop policies / procedures and technical processes, including the review of Life Safety Drawings, specifications, firestopping submittals, UL systems, and special inspection reports
- Prepares reports and other work related documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Understands and utilizes safe work practices

High School diploma or equivalent2-years of construction or inspection related experience preferredAbility to pass the IFC Firestop Inspectors exam with a minimum score of 80% within 30 days of start dateUnderstanding of the inspection and reporting process as defined by the IBCFamiliarity with reporting tools used in the industryBraun Intertec is a drug-free workplace and require all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.

Compensation Range : $39,600.00 - $59,400.00
