The Real Estate Staff Accountant’s critical contributions to this work are the following :
- Record financial transactions related to asset management– including recording sale / purchase of real estate, and real estate financing, as well as tenant and CLT home-owner payment due to DevNW
- Support the Asset Management teams in financial management of their portfolios, including preparing reports, tenant billing, budget to actual review of portfolio operations and supporting our third-party property manager in properly recording financial activity for managed properties
- Reconcile assigned accounts, including bank accounts for DevNW operations, balance sheet accounts related to asset management and other accounts as assigned on a monthly / quarterly basis to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Complete entries to and reconciliation of accounts related to RED and asset management as required to close monthly financials and support funding source reviews and the DevNW annual audit
