Hotel Shuttle Driver

Essential Responsibilities :
- Safe and timely transportation : Drive guests to and from designated locations, such as airports, train stations, and local attractions, while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Customer service : Greet guests warmly, assist with loading and unloading luggage, and provide a friendly and helpful experience during the ride.
- Vehicle maintenance : Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to check for fuel, oil, tire pressure, and overall cleanliness. Keep the vehicle clean both inside and out.
- Scheduling and communication : Maintain a consistent schedule for pickups and drop-offs, and communicate effectively with hotel front desk staff regarding guest needs and any necessary schedule adjustments.
- Guest assistance : Respond to guest inquiries about the hotel or local area, and handle any minor issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
The ability to safely and professionally operate a shuttle van or passenger bus in various weather and traffic conditions.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory. For larger vehicles (16+ passengers), a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement is required.Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns, landmarks, and efficient use of GPS systems.The ability to perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks (such as checking fluids and tire pressure), and report any issues.Knowledge of what to do in case of a vehicle malfunction, accident, or passenger emergency.A friendly, approachable, and patient demeanor is crucial for creating a positive guest experience.Strong verbal communication skills to greet guests, provide information, and effectively coordinate with the hotel's front desk and other departments.Physical Demands :
