About Us

American Diamond Logistics (ADL) is a fully licensed Domestic and International third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in FTL and LTL shipments through Dry Vans, Refrigerated Trucks, Flat Beds, and Intermodal providers along with Air Freight / Ocean coverage for international markets. We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator that is ready to join a fast pace team that has been experiencing rapid growth. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate the management of shipments from inception to delivery. Responsibilities

  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally
  • Be a liaison between customers and carriers
  • Data entry of orders and third-party information in our proprietary TMS software
  • Maintain data integrity in our proprietary TMS software
  • Select qualified carriers to help meet customer expectations
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Preparing transportation-related documents for customers and carriers
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
  • Collect transportation-related documents from carriers
  • Provide solutions and utilize problem-solving skills when issues arise
  • Communicate issues with co-workers and managers
  • Communicate with the sales team about customer needs and requirements
  • Maintain customer accounts and monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity

Experience

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years of Transportation or Logistics industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills and be process oriented.
  • Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Organized : Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal : Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) - Preferred
  • Self-motivation : Having a positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the initiative to work independently.
  • Conflict resolution : Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others. Know how to be persuasive with the ability to stay calm.
  • This position offers a competitive base salary.

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : From $40,000.00 per year

    Schedule :

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
