• Position Overview We are hiring a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support our therapy team.
• The OTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and help clients maximize independence in daily activities.
• Responsibilities Provide therapy interventions as outlined in OT care plans.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, adaptive activities, and self-care training.
• Document patient progress accurately and submit reports per agency and regulatory requirements.
• Support patients and families with education and training for ongoing care.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
• Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program (accredited).
• Current Texas OTA license.
• Prior experience in home health, geriatric care, or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation requirements (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance).
