Lab Technician I

The Lab Technician is responsible to perform quality tests as required by sampling instructions to evaluate all finished products and raw materials. The Lab Technician will perform analyses required for raw material qualification, in-process and finished product . Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Ensure safe operation of the laboratory and its equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of in process finished and raw materials.
• Perform the final quality control analysis of finished products to ensure that finished product meets specifications before shipment.
• Classification and correct handling of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Wastes.
• Calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly Production reporting requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Ensure safe operation of the laboratory and its equipment.
• Special analysis and / or project support as directed by management.
• Department Specific : Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Attend safety meetings and required training.
