Contract Length : 13 weeks temp to hire

Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM 40 hours per week

No weekends

No on call

Pay : 17.86 to 18.50 dollars per hour

Position Summary

You will process requests for medical records and itemized bills. You will follow privacy regulations and provide timely and accurate service to patients providers and third party requesters. You will support daily HIM operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Two to three years clerical experience in a healthcare setting

Experience in a medical office or HIM department

Knowledge of federal and state release of information rules

Experience with EPIC or another EMR

Understanding of medical terminology

Strong written and verbal communication skills
