Job Title : Business Intelligence Developer – Information Security Engineering (Contingent Assignment)

Location :  Chandler, AZ

About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Developer supporting the Information Security Engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering data-driven insights that support cybersecurity initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling executive-level decision-making and operational transparency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize cybersecurity metrics.
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and actionable data visualizations.
  • Ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation against source systems and databases.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to align on data definitions and logic.
  • Conduct functional and regression testing during release cycles to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Optimize dashboard performance using advanced filtering, parameters, and drill-down capabilities.
  • Document dashboard logic, test cases, and validation procedures for audit and knowledge transfer.
  • Lead the migration of legacy Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior team members on BI development best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly within large banking institutions.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent (., consulting, military, education).

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, or other Microsoft BI tools.
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity metrics and reporting frameworks.
