Corporate Payroll Coordinator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for our corporate headquarters in Birmingham. 18.00-20.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Payroll Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit timecards against payroll hours to ensure accuracy in payments and billing.
- Maintain payroll operations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, deductions, and other payroll information.
- Generate payroll files and ensure timely payroll submission.
- Generate and send out customer invoices.
- Assemble payroll packages for distribution to branches as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, as well as branches.
- Support branches with payroll training, answering questions, etc, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pay guidelines. Payroll Coordinator Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of comparable experience.
- Ability to adapt to other computer programs as needed; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a big plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and electronic.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently, and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Previous staffing experience is a plus. Job Type
