HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design analysis and management of power systems for complex defense and technology projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles with a focus on power generation distribution and control as well as the ability to work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

What You Will Do

• Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties : electronics electrical mechanical civil naval and / or chemical.
• Provide review of GFI or CFI provided by the alteration sponsor / PARM and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the necessary electrical power interface.
• Provide technical oversight of power system hardware by reviewing documentation such as electrical and mechanical schematics test plans and data packages.
• Support system level testing events performed in both laboratory and relevant environments.
• Lead for interface with equipment In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEA) Combat Systems Engineering Agents (CSEA) and Software Support Activities (SSA) as required.

What You Must Have

Bonus Points For Having!

Experience in the defense or government contracting industry.

Knowledge of military standards for power systems.

Experience with high-voltage or mission-critical power systems.

Physical Requirements

Office industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
