Assistant Director Human Resources

This position is for a full-time 12-month unclassified in-person staff position located on-site at our Bossier Campus.

Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education training and work experience.
• Three (3) years of work experience in human resources.
• Knowledge of HRIS functions practices of human resources and applicable state and federal laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different groups / individuals.
• One year work experience in higher education preferred.
• One year work experience in payroll preferred.
• Knowledge of HR information system Microsoft products and data input preferred.
• Valid Drivers license.

Job Specification

This position assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Director in employee matters questions referred to Human Resources and information related to employment. This position is responsible for daily HR functions to include but not limited to coordinating all aspects of employment for unclassified classified student worker and WeStaff temporary workers provide verification backup and assistance in payroll process manage HR training and reporting manage I-9 forms and compliance coordinate Workers Comp reports / records serve as CPTP coordinator and maintenance of the onboarding platform.
