BASIC FUNCTION :

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst II is responsible for supporting organizational decision-making through data analysis, report development, dashboard creation, and interpretation of business performance metrics. This role includes gathering requirements, designing and maintaining BI solutions, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders across clinical, operational, and administrative departments. The BI Analyst II plays a key role in enhancing data-driven strategies and performance improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

NATURE AND SCOPE :

Internal contacts include hospital administrators, clinical and research staff, faculty, and IT personnel. External contacts include technology vendors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working in a data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting role. Experience with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent required. Healthcare or hospital-related data experience is strongly preferred. Experience supporting system implementation, data integration, and cross-functional collaboration is desirable.

None required. Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or related BI tools are preferred.

Must be available for occasional on-call or after-hours support as needed.

Compliance Salary Range Disclosure

Compensation Range : $110,000 - $120,000
