Customer Service Specialist Tax Services

We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, delivering excellent client support, and managing multiple priorities with accuracy.

What You'll Do

Provide quality customer service via phone, e-mail, chat, and other communication channels while documenting all interactions.

Follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures.

Prioritize and manage daily, time-sensitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Support both internal and external clients on tasks such as :

Processing payments and filings

Assisting with tax agency account registrations

Tax notice research and resolution

Data entry, spreadsheet creation, and data verification

Use tools and systems such as HRIS, Oracle, MasterTax, Prism, Salesforce, BNA, ClientSpace, and Microsoft Office (experience a plus but not required).

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2 years of professional work experience.

Payroll or tax experience preferred (not required).

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Comfort with online knowledge bases and research tools.
