The Present Product Design Team is integral to the overall success of the organization by providing comprehensive solutions regarding the maintenance and continuous improvements of products to meet all performance objectives and customer requirements throughout their entire product lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with design engineers and designer resources in support of present product business goals.
• Generate and convert ideas into working design solutions while working independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and implement solutions in support of warranty incident and cost reduction.
• Determine and implement designs that support better manufacturability in fabrication and product assembly.
• Provide and present design solutions for review by product and management teams.
• Direct and evaluate design through 3D modeling, drafting, tooling, and testing.
• Conduct cost analysis and other feasibility studies.
• Willingness to work with internal and external customers.
• Write and manage engineering change requests and notices (CRs and CNs) to improve products.
• Be a self-starter who is able to satisfy goals and timelines.
• Determine and coordinate test requirements; analyze results against product requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and organize projects.
