THE POSITION…
As a Certification Engineer , you will provide engineering and technical support in the evaluation and testing of existing and emerging technologies, systems, and capabilities. You’ll be responsible for testing and certifying electrical equipment to support FAA TSO, STC and PMA activities and manage the entire testing process from project start to finish. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be adept in reviewing technical data and forms to ensure compliance with requirements, while providing top-notch customer service. You’ll be part of the reason our customers consider us a premier instrument, avionics, and aircraft power solutions provider.
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a minimum 3 years experience in testing and certifying electrical equipment.
- You have direct experience with industry, regulatory, and / or military standards / specifications.
- You are experienced in using Oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition, and other electrical test equipment.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)
You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.You have familiarity / experience with RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-311A, MIL-STD-810G / MIL-STD-461F and FAA TSO.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…
