Job Description

Job Title : Facility Management Technician

Location : Midland, TX

Hours : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm Monday-Friday

Pay : Up to $31 / hr based on experience

About the Role :

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Management Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities. The ideal candidate is experienced in general building maintenance and repair, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility-related equipment, systems, and fixtures.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all safety systems and practices are maintained in line with HSE standards.
  • Report and address safety hazards; assist with emergency response when needed.
  • Facility Operations

  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Support coordination and oversight of vendors and contractors.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Update and manage the iOFFICE service request module and ensure timely closure of tickets.
  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with other facility team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • May occasionally perform day porter duties as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training a plus.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance, building systems, and general repair.
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and general construction.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tools and safety procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to on-call situations.
  • Knowledge of environmental and energy management regulations is a plus.
