Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Lighting Designer to join our team. This role involves contributing to architectural lighting design projects across high end residential, healthcare, ports / harbors, education, federal, and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in lighting principles, experience with design software, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Design Assistance

• Develop lighting design concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability to enhance architectural intent and user experience.
• Support lighting design tasks, including layout development, photometric calculations, and concept refinement.
• Participate in mock-ups, design presentations, and renderings.
• Conduct research and site inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Assist in developing lighting controls specifications.
• Produce accurate documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and AGI32.
• Contribute to energy and economic calculations and building certification compliance (e.g., LEED, WELL).
• Support the development of marketing materials for project pursuits.
