Senior IT Tech

ATS – AL, Inc is hiring.  We offer a broad range of IT services; however, this is not your “typical” Senior IT Tech position. Your day can range from reinstalling a PC Operating System to drilling holes and running CAT6 and fiber through entire buildings to installing racks, nodes, terminating patch panels and configuring VLANs. Required skills :

• 4+ years of experience with PCs, printers, laptops and Windows Server experience.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, access lists, NAT, PAT.
• Experience with Active Directory, from setup to administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server a plus.
• Virtual Server Experience - HyperV or Vmware.
• Backup Software
• Basic understand of routing concepts and VLAN management.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 Professional operating systems.
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting of standard desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Cat 5e or higher cabling and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of switch / router management.
• 4+ years experience with DNS, subnetting, routing tables, etc.
• Strong interpersonal / team skills and the ability to impart information to colleagues with a varied range of computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
• Familiarity with the following technology / products a plus : Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, Ubiquiti, Cisco, 3cx, Polycom, Yealink
