Job Description Summary : Within the multi-specialty hub model, the Medical Assistant, under the supervision of the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management. This role assists the providers within the scope of practice to provide quality patient care. This includes gathering patient information, assessing patient requests, obtaining and monitoring patient vitals, assisting with procedures, and adhering to infection prevention practices. This position rotates between multi-specialty practices as assigned based on patient volume demand.

Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions :

Pay Range : $28.00 - $31.21 - $36.41

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Rooming patients, including obtaining vital signs, obtaining reason for visit, and documenting symptoms their frequency, and severity.
• Prepares accurate medication list utilizing medication review standard workflow.
• Documents all required information in electronic medical records.
• Provide injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Provide assistance during medical procedures.
• Obtain all patient information required to meet regulatory obligations.
• Track the receipt of all results for all ordered tests.
• Ability to perform POCT as well as all quality controls.
• Ability to perform ECGs, place Zio patches per workflow protocol.
• Other duties as assigned.

Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal / market equity, consistent with MarinHealth's compensation philosophy.
