PROJECT MANAGER

POSITION TYPE : Full-Time, Salary

LOCATION : Phoenix, AZ

WAGE SCALE : $65,000-$85,000 (Depends on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervises a crew of installers, including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action.
  • Schedules jobs daily and prepares daily load sheets.
  • Uses daily load sheets and incoming materials to keep accurate inventory control.
  • Supervises loading procedures ensuring that installers have proper materials, equipment and safety gear.
  • Field measurements and job checks
  • Utilizing current staff to coordinate workers, material and equipment
  • Visits job sites and reviews work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards.
  • Managing jobs and providing oversight of all phases of projects
  • Direct interaction with General Contractors Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Schedule preparation and revisions including coordination with other trades
  • Reviewing and projecting job costs / costs to complete on a monthly basis with Management
  • Reviews WIP and plans future projects, ensuring that materials are available.
  • Conducts safety meetings on a regular basis, and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards.
  • Up to 80% travel to local job sites
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Three years experience installing within the Insulation trade, and one year of supervisory experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience project managing jobs and crews.
  • Experience in the Commercial Construction field strongly desired.
  • OSHA 30 certificate desirable.
  • Requires good verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees.
  • Valid AZ driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Regular attendance is required.
