This position is hybrid , requiring in-office presence two days per week at the Texas Support Center , currently located in Denton, TX . The Support Center will be relocating to Legacy West in Plano in the fall of .

Essential Function
The Sr. Director of Compensation is responsible for directing the strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, communication, and administration of all corporate-wide compensation programs consistent with the organization’s human capital and company’s business objectives.
Primary Duties
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in human resource, business, preferred, or equivalent combination.
Progressive compensation experience including Executive Compensation in a mid to large-size organization- year plus preferred
Experience leading and developing multiple levels of compensation associates
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Oracle HCM preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access. Must be able to create professional documents using Word and PowerPoint. Must be able to create spreadsheets containing formulas, be able to create pivot tables, and use charting
Knowledge, understanding, and application of Federal and State employment laws : ERISA, FLMA, FLSA, EEO, etc. required
Strong knowledge of compensation practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is a plus
International compensation experience is a plus

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary.Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts, special physical demands are required to perform the work.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences, , use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, cooled and ventilated.
