About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding program directors and faculty in various essential areas, including program outcome assessments, accreditation activities, faculty evaluation and development, and curricular improvement. This role demands a dynamic leader who can unify programmatic standards across multiple locations while fostering innovation, growth, and academic excellence for both students and faculty. The Dean will also play a key role in shaping strategic planning for physical therapy programs, ensuring continuous quality improvement, and maintaining alignment with institutional goals. Applicants for the Dean of Physical Therapy position at the company should hold an earned academic or terminal doctorate and have 7-10 years' of progressive academic administrative experience in higher education. Professional experience in a health-related or rehabilitative discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing accreditation processes, program development, and curricular improvements, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills. A collaborative, student-centered approach is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related academic technologies is required, and current clinical certification and licensure in a discipline-specific specialty are highly preferred.
