Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location : Rahway, NJ 07065

Start Date : January 12, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 3x12-hour (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, no weekends (on-call every other week, Sunday–Saturday)

About the Role

We are seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse with strong scrub skills to join a dynamic cardiovascular team in Rahway, NJ. This position involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with physicians and technologists in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Scrub in and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to emergent situations.
  • Document care accurately using EPIC.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation every other week (Sunday–Saturday).

    • Requirements

    Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab RN experience (will consider 1.5 years).
  • First-time travelers accepted.

    • Licensure

  • Current NJ RN license or compact license required at submission.

    • Certifications

  • BLS and ACLS required.
  • Preferred : ARRT R, CCI RCIS, state licensure.

    • Skills

  • Scrub experience required.
  • EPIC documentation experience required.

    • Additional Details

  • No block scheduling.
  • Locals accepted at the same rate.
  • Weekend shifts not required; only on-call coverage.
