What You Will Do :
Product Development & Technical Leadership
- Provide imaginative and thorough solutions to a wide range of difficult engineering problems
- Lead the design and development of new HVAC products and sub-systems, including vapor compression refrigeration circuits, heat exchangers, fans, and cabinet structures
- Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecyclefrom concept to launch
- Serve as the engineering lead on mid-sized NPI projects, supporting both product strategy and execution milestones
- Lead technical efforts in Daikin's cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Support project management as a technical leador serve as overall project manager for moderate-scope programs
- Evaluate and recommend new product designs and cost improvements to enhance Daikin's market competitiveness
Prototype Design & Testing
Procure materials and oversee the engineering of new product models and prototypesPlan and conduct structured test programs using Design of Experiments (DOE) for complex systems with multiple variablesAnalyze test data and reports to verify that designs meet functional, performance, and safety specificationsEngineering Analysis & Optimization
Analyze and recommend design changes to improve cost, performance, or manufacturabilityEvaluate new materials and coordinate with sourcing to support product updates or cost-reduction initiativesPerform technical analysis of competitive products to guide design strategyCross-Functional & Customer Support
Provide engineering support for Sales and Marketing, including product presentations and customer engagementUse computer-assisted engineering and design tools to develop and validate new concepts and featuresWhat's In It For You :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline56 years of experience in HVAC, rotating machinery, turbomachinery, or related product developmentProficiency in CAD and simulation tools for thermal and mechanical system analysisDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and projectsProven experience leading the design and development of HVAC products and subsystems, including vapor compression refrigeration circuits, heat exchangers, fans, and cabinet structuresAbility to guide product development from initial concept through product launchExperience serving as the engineering lead on mid-sized NPI projects, contributing to both product strategy and executionBenefits :

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
