Elementary Aide

Job Summary

A Elementary Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a Christ-centered academically excellent learning environment that fosters the spiritual intellectual social and emotional growth of each student. The instructional aid will assist in implementing lesson plans providing individualized support to students and maintaining a classroom atmosphere aligned with the mission and vision of the school as outlined by the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).

Job Responsibilities

Faith Formation and Integration :

• Model and promote Catholic values in all interactions.
• Support integration of faith-based principles in classroom activities.
• Help create a respectful inclusive environment reflecting Catholic teachings.
• Assist in liturgies prayer services and religious celebrations.
• Collaborate with the teacher to implement lesson plans and activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support for individual learning needs.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and maintaining organization.
• Support the use of technology to enhance learning.
