As a Surgical Technologist I in General Specialty, you will play a vital role in the surgical team, contributing to exceptional patient care. We are looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in high-pressure environments and are passionate about their work.

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Job Highlights :

  • Full-time evening shift with flexible hours (8 or 10-hour shifts available)
  • Excellent pay range : $26.10 - $39.15 / hr
  • Generous $12,000 SIGN-ON Bonus available with distance-based relocation options

Your Responsibilities :

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient surgical environment using aseptic techniques.
  • Assist in preparing materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Perform all types of procedures and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of surgical processes.
  • Support the surgical team by anticipating surgeons' needs and assisting in maintaining sterility.
  • Transport patients and manage equipment, ensuring the operating room is fully prepared for each case.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills relevant to providing care for patients of all ages.

    • Requirements :

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and various surgical procedures.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
