Communications Specialist

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Summary :

This position will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing internal and external communications that enhance Sunoco's brand, strengthen employee engagement and support the company's strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Assist in drafting, editing, and distributing internal and and external communications (memos, letters, fact sheets, brochure copy, etc.)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, etc.) to develop clear and consistent messaging across all platformsManage updates to company website

Manage content creation and updates to company intranet site.

Media Relations

Monitor media coverage and industry news to identify communication needsManage Sunoco's media phone line and inbox, ensuring timely responsesDrafting media materials (talking points, statements, etc.) as needed

Distribute the Daily Media Report to key internal stakeholders

• Support crisis communications efforts
• Support communication integration efforts during acquisitions and corporate transitions
• Provide Executive Leadership with team with project support (customer communications, logistics coordination, etc.)

Marketing support

Assist with design, layout, and production of presentations, graphics, and visual materialsAssist in preparation of Dealer and Distributor trips, biennial Brand Show and other eventsAssist with updating Sunoco's social media channels and Wikipedia page

Assist with branding support across all Sunoco locations
