Mainframe Developer

Technical / Functional Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience,
• 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior mainframe engineer in large IT projects along with
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
• High level of expertise in CICS, COBOL, DB2 and DB2 SQL design are required.
• Also required is a high level of expertise with JCL, Procs, TSO, and SPUFI.
• Functional knowledge of industry standard debugging tools, ISPW, DB2 Stored Procedures is preferred. Roles & Responsibilities
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code using the following mainframe development components.
• Development of mainframe applications
• Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
• Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity Infrastructure Positions Generic Managerial Skills
