ICU RN Travel Job Details

Location : Owosso, Michigan 48867 (Michigan nursing jobs)

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Assignment

Assignment Type : On-site, Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Schedule : Every other weekend required; no on-call

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with required floating to Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units (PCU)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan RN license (Registered Nurse license in Michigan)

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nursing)

Experience floating to PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry units

Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Submission of recent work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and 2 supervisory references

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Float between ICU, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU units as needed (clinical support across units)

Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient assessments

Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care within healthcare teams

Comply with infection control, medication administration, and hospital policies

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Participate in ongoing education, unit meetings, and performance improvement initiatives
