Role : UX Design Author

Location : Hybrid 3 days in Charlotte, NC

Contract : Only W2

Our UX team supports the design efforts for our financial client. You will work with a talented team to combine creative concepts and designs with cutting-edge technologies to create innovative customer experiences. You should have a strong eye for excellence in digital design and will work closely with web usability, content management, technology, analytics, accessibility, and LOB leaders to create a unified, customer-driven design direction. You should be highly innovative and inspire commitment to a higher standard. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. You should also be solutions-oriented with the ability to multi-task and make quick creative changes based on feedback from the project owners.

Job Responsibilities :

Execute high quality page authoring under the direction of the UX Design Director and Adobe Enterprise Manager (AEM) UX Manager.

Create and prepare digital assets for page authoring.

Adhere to our design standards and brand guidelines.

Have a bold vision for excellence in web design and work closely with designers, content management, technology, marketing, and LOB leaders to create a unified, customer-driven design direction.

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be solutions-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and conditions.

Partner across related disciplines including usability, design, content management, and web development to meet the objectives of every business engagement.

Exhibit strong competency in responsive and adaptive strategies for web design.

Mandatory Skills :

2-4+ years of experience as a designer / AEM author at an agency, retail or financial services institution or large ecommerce site.

Advanced experience in Adobe Experience Manager required.

Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch App.

Best-practices knowledge of W3C and other web design standards.

Demonstrated understanding of usability / user-centered design, UX methodology, interactive design principles, and corporate branding.

Must be highly innovative and inspire commitment to a higher standard.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be solutions-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and conditions.

Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
