Gulfstream Staffing has been retained by a federally focused small business contractor to identify an experienced President & CEO to lead the organization through its next phase of growth.
The incoming executive will drive disciplined growth, profitability, and operational maturity while preserving the company's SBA small-business classification. This role offers a strong compensation package , including bonus and equity participation , for a leader focused on long-term value creation.
Key Qualifications :
Proven executive leadership within a federal contracting services firm that qualified as an SBA Small Business Concern (Client)
Direct P&L management experience for a services organization in the $M–$M revenue range
Deep understanding of SBA size standards, set-aside programs, and NAICS classifications
Expertise in federal contract operations (cost-plus, T&M, fixed-fee), indirect-rate management , and audit compliance
Empowering, team-oriented manager with a track record of rebuilding culture and delegating effectively
Strong financial discipline , with ability to manage margins, working capital, and growth tradeoffs
High integrity, stability, and credibility with both staff and federal agency stakeholders
Preferred Attributes :
Experience managing growth near SBA graduation thresholds
Relationships across civilian agencies and prime / subcontractor networks
Background in professionalizing systems and operations without slowing entrepreneurial pace
