Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor
CAVA is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to create compelling, branded motion content that excites and inspires our community. As a key member of the in-house Creative Team, you will concept, design, and edit short-form videos, animations, and motion graphics for use across social media, digital platforms, in-store environments, and internal initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners in Brand, Marketing, Social, Culinary, and Digital to craft stories that capture CAVA’s energy, values, and visual identity. This is a hands-on, idea-forward role that blends creative craft with technical execution — ideal for a visual storyteller who’s passionate about food, movement, and cultural storytelling.

What You’ll Do :
Concept, design, and animate motion graphics and short-form videos for digital and social channels, digital menu boards, in-store signage, paid media, and moreEdit existing video footage and motion assets into polished, brand-aligned contentSupport storytelling needs across product launches, cultural campaigns, brand partnerships, and community initiativesWork closely with the Social Media and Brand teams to develop motion content tailored to specific platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)Collaborate with designers, art directors, writers, and external production partners to bring creative ideas to lifeMaintain consistency with CAVA’s visual identity and brand guidelines while introducing fresh motion treatments and animation stylesPrepare assets for publishing across various formats and platforms, ensuring proper specs and compressionOrganize and manage video and motion asset librariesKeep up with emerging trends in motion design, editing techniques, and digital contentSupport internal storytelling needs including company-wide events and team member communications as neededThe Qualifications :
3–5 years of professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or video editingStrong portfolio that demonstrates a range of motion design and video editing work across digital, social, and brand platformsProficient in Adobe Creative Suite — especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and IllustratorFamiliarity with motion design tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D platforms a plusKnowledge of platform-specific video requirements (aspect ratios, runtimes, compression) and content trendsStrong storytelling instincts and ability to convey emotion, energy, and clarity through pacing, typography, and transitionsDetail-oriented with a commitment to polish, consistency, and best practicesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environmentExcellent organizational and file management skillsPassion for food, culture, and meaningful visual storytellingBachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Film, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field preferredPhysical Requirements :
