Job Description
- Support Tier1 consumer electronic OEM customer in the Silicon Valley with MEMS based sensors, such as Accelerometers, Pressure Sensors, IMUs
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of ASIC, MEMS, packaging, test and calibration, and supply chain management within sensors for consumer electronic market
- Identify and win designs for entire product portfolio within one key account
- Support ongoing designs through product lifecycle
- Maintain communication within development teams within US, Europe and Asia
- Manage schedules and deliverable for active programs
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations to customer
- Manage dynamic customer forecast with complex analytical model
- Maintain CRM tool with relevant information (forecast, organizational charts, project list, etc.)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or Computer Engineering4+ years of experience in direct customer support roleExperience working with cross functional teams in a consumer electronic focused companyAble to assess priorities, schedule, and resource managementAbility to work independently to analyze, troubleshoot, debug, investigate and to present the resultsStrong customer oriented written and verbal communication skillsFamiliar with Sales and forecasting tools; such as CRM and SAPProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, VisioDesired Qualifications :
Basic understanding of MEMS based sensors and semiconductorBasic understanding of Consumer Electronics, board design, or QualityBasic knowledge of supply chain and sourcing strategyFamiliar with basics of project managementFamiliar with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies5+ years of technical experience in a tier-1 customer supporting role; such as an Applications Engineering or Field Application Engineer, sales, operations, or sourcing environment5+ years direct sales and customer support experience2+ years direct experience in supplier / supply chain managementAvailability to Travel :
