Medical Coder Job Details :

Title : Medical Coder

Pay Rate : $23–$24 / hour

Contract Length : 12 months

Start Date : 2 weeks from offer

Shift : Days 8 am- 5 pm (Full-time, consistent schedule)

Medical Coder Responsibilities :

As a Medical Coder, your responsibilities will include :

Assist in monitoring and analyzing policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) policy and system support program.

Serve as a medical policy resource, analyst, and technical expert advisor for ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems.

Incorporate relevant ICD, CPT, and HCPCS policies and guidelines from the Agency on a statewide basis.

Medical Coder Requirements :

RHIA or RHIT degree and / or CCS / CCS-P / CPC

Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Medical Coder
