Product Management Data Steward
Responsible to create, maintain and steward product management data practices ensuring accurate information flows across all Jack in the Box systems, channels and stakeholders. Creates and improves standardized procedures for data collection, validation, approval, and distribution across systems.
Key Duties / Responsibilities :
- Establishes and implements enterprise-wide data governance frameworks for all product data including ingredients, nutritional data, menu configurations, pricing, and promotional offerings.
- Leads definition of functional requirements / specifications and leads the implementation of Product Information Management (PIM) solution.
- Manages core product data including ingredients, nutritional values, pricing, descriptions, and promotional metadata.
- Develops and maintains data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all product data touchpoints.
- Establishes business rules and validation criteria for all product data elements.
- Collaborates with culinary, marketing, operations, legal, and IT teams to understand product data requirements and dependencies. Specifically collaborates with IT teams to integrate PIM with existing technology infrastructure including POS, digital sales applications, Supply Chain, and ERP.
- Optimizes processes for new product introductions, recipe modifications, menu changes, and promotions.
- Coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure consistent product data distribution.
- Creates and improves standardized procedures for data collection, validation, approval, and distribution across systems.
- Facilitates training programs to ensure proper adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization.
- Develops metrics and KPIs to measure data quality, process efficiency, and system performance.
- Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.
Qualifications :
Education Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience - Minimum five years of experience in data management, preferably within retail, food service, or consumer goods industries. Proven experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and their implementations. Familiarity in delivering master data management principles, process mapping, workflow optimization, and change management. Working familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and restaurant technology platforms.

If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we may apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
