job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care / unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager. Graduate of a NLN / AACN accredited program in nursing. 2 years experience required Experience with electronic health records a plus Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license. Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) Pediatric Advance Life Support ( PALS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
