About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary Vice President for Advancement (VPA) to lead its philanthropic and alumni engagement efforts during a transformative period. The VPA will be a key member of the president's senior leadership team, overseeing a 20-member advancement staff and guiding the development and execution of a compelling advancement strategy. This role is pivotal in increasing meaningful philanthropic and engagement activities with a global alumni community. The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with campus partners to increase affinity, cultivate major and principal gifts, and develop a comprehensive talent management plan. Additionally, the VPA will be tasked with larger, long-term initiatives to expand the advancement program, including the development of a visionary advancement plan and the implementation of a comprehensive campaign.
The ideal candidate for the VPA position at the company will have a proven track record in comprehensive campaigns, inspirational leadership, and exceptional communication skills. A bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
