AP / CP Pathologist

AP / CP Pathologist Houston, TX This is a state of the art CAP-accredited lab in the Houston area that is expanding its test menu to include GYN Pathology. This laboratory was established in 2020 and serves more than 200 OB / GYN providers across the state of Texas and had been exclusively performing molecular microbiology under the direction of a GYN Pathology Fellowship-Trained Pathologist. There are no frozen sections or call responsibilities. Responsibilities Sign-out of office based GYN and breast biopsies and / or liquid-based GYN cytology Interact with multiplie OB / GYN providers to communicate cancer diagnosis and answer other pertinent inquires Participate in PT & QA programs Technical Supervisor over molecular microbiology if qualifed Other duties as assigned Qualifications MD / DO with AP or AP / CP board certification State of Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure GYN Pathology expertise.
