Position Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated full time or part time Technology Coordinator to join our team. This position is remote with travel.

NATURE OF THE POSITION :

To support and enhance the effective utilization of instructional technology at the Academy’s.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Associated degree strongly preferred in technology, computer science or the like.
  • High school diploma with at least 3 years of computer work experience; information systems and / or project management experience  OR
  • A combination of education, experience and training would produce the required knowledge and abilities.
  • Strong PC and desktop application experience.
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION :

  • Have a working knowledge of the district’s network software.
  • Provide in-service training for teachers and administrators in the use of instructional computers and software programs.
  • Perform network installations, documentation and maintenance, such as adding new stations and providing users direct day-to-day assistance in solving any network related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve staff problems with technology and other equipment.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair of instructional computers.
  • Assist in the acquisition and inventory of consumable supplies and replacement components for instructional computers.
  • Assist the administration in the coordination of technology objectives, programs, and decision making.
  • Utilize cost effective practices at all times.
  • Support the district’s compliance with copyright laws and other ethical and legal guidelines related to technology.
  • Manually account for all technical equipment on a daily basis.
  • Manage the technology work order system.
  • Manage the forms for signing technical equipment in and out.
  • Ensure the sign out form is completed properly before disseminating equipment; if not completed properly, equipment is not to be issued.
  • Securely store all technical equipment daily.
  • Complete all tasks as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

    Satisfactory criminal background check.
