Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) - Hunton Distribution

Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX ( ), has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Business Development Manager (Outside Sales). This position works directly with our contractors and self-servicing owner customers to sell the complete range of products offered through the Unaffiliated Dealer Channel. This lineup includes OEM parts, installation, and service supplies, 1 to 25 ton LCU equipment, selective Residential equipment, and more. Selected candidate will work side-by-side with Hunton Distribution Managers to increase sales and customer relationships. In addition, the selected candidate will be an active and positive influence in the branch store to help provide ongoing mentorship and leadership to the inside personnel.

Responsibilities :

• Sales representative and liaison between customers and Hunton Distribution.
• Develop new customer accounts by cold-calling various locations in the territory.
• Support and regularly visit customer accounts.
• Perform analysis on customer needs and uses.
• Ascertain current market opportunities.
• Increase sales to existing accounts.
• Review and provide feedback on customer support programs.
• Identify customer problems and / or needs.
• Research and provides competitor information.
• Maintain customer data files.
• Regularly report sales activity, new account development, and upcoming schedule / plans.
• Notify customers of specials.
• Possess strong knowledge of all Hunton Distribution product lines and be able to enthusiastically demonstrate and discuss with customers.
• Provide backup support for inside sales.
• Develop multiple relationships with key players in customer operations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
