ACADEMIC SURGICAL RETINA

University of Mississippi Medical Center

Position Highlights :

  • Desirable Practice Setting : Join an established multi-specialty practice with 3 dedicated lanes, 1 procedure room and separate imaging facilities.
  • Comprehensive Team : Dedicated photography team, tech in the injection room, and full triage support across a multispecialty clinic.
  • Optimal Patient Volume : Clinical volume of 35 patients per day, supported by midlevel staff and a dedicated scribe.
  • Work-Life Balance : Reasonable call schedule including 1 weekend per month with dedicated ophthalmic surgical tech assigned to Retina call.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Competitive Compensation : 2-year guarantee and production comp plan of $350K-$525K with reasonable production expectations.
  • Sign-On Bonus and relocation assistance
  • Professional Development Funds : $3500 annual reimbursement
  • Comprehensive Benefits including 14% retirement contribution

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree : MD or DO
  • Certifications : Surgical Retina Fellowship required
  • Licensure : Must be in possession of or able to acquire a MS license
  • Visa Sponsorship : J1 and H1-b
