St. Josephs Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to support the health and well-being of our employees through direct care, preventive services, and workplace health initiatives.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM (No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities)
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct fit-for-duty physicals as part of the SJH pre-employment process
- Evaluate and treat employee walk-ins for injury management
- Collaborate with staff to address provider follow-up questions
- Manage drug screen reviews and lab draws
- Assess and follow up on occupational exposures per CDC and NYS guidelines
- Conduct annual health assessments as needed
