Job Description

Russell Tobin is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a medical device manufacturer in Oakdale, MN.

Job Title : Laboratory Technician

Location : Maplewood, MN

Job Type : Contract

Length : 12-Months

Hours : 1st Shift, 40 hours / week

Travel : May include up to 10 % Domestic

Pay Rate : $26 - $32 per hour

Responsibilities :

• Leads testing on a specific project, working with senior engineers to develop, test, and validate new methods for the re-qualification of existing products.
• Implements new and existing test methods to perform physical, optical and mechanical analysis on films, adhesives, and non-woven materials as well as tape and dressing products
• Supports method developers by actively engaging in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress.
• Determines sample properties and whether the performance is correct and accurate.
• Record and report those results back to the method developers and cross-functional teams as needed.
