Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a talented Digital Advertising Product Manager to enhance its innovative advertising solutions within the Cox Media team. As a crucial member of the Product Management Team, you will manage the complete lifecycle of assigned advertising products in our local advertising portfolio. Your responsibilities will span from driving revenue on existing products to launching exciting new solutions and refining underperforming ones.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to ensure the success and growth of our advertising products.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify strategies for enhancing market share and boosting product revenues.
- Work with Cox Media markets to effectively launch and enhance products, providing training and creating impactful marketing materials.
- Align with the Marketing Center of Excellence to position our product offerings effectively, backed by data-driven research.
- Partner with external vendors, the Digital Center of Excellence, and Operations teams to maintain alignment with our sales philosophy.
- Ensure internal stakeholder needs are documented and addressed throughout the product lifecycle by collaborating with the Business Enablement team.
- Work with the Finance team to create a budget for assigned products, managing expenses and vendor payments efficiently.
- Drive product enhancements by outlining requirements for our technology teams in an agile development environment.
- Conduct market assessments for new inventory sources to optimize campaign yields and explore revenue growth opportunities.
- Negotiate with new supply partners and publishers, ensuring fresh perspectives on products across sales channels.
- Manage vendor relationships to uphold high accountability and performance standards.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal teams and external partners to meet our company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with up to 4 years of experience; or a PhD with 1 year of experience; or 18 years of experience in the field in lieu of a degree.Proven experience with Digital Media advertising products, particularly in digital video advertising.Familiarity with advanced advertising concepts including Addressable TV, Programmatic strategies, and DSPs.Ability to work across departmental boundaries and manage external partnerships for optimal business results.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, exhibiting professionalism throughout.Willingness to travel as necessary.Preferred Qualifications :
2+ years of management or leadership experience in cross-functional projects.Experience with project management software.Insight into DSP / SSP practices is a plus.Compensation : The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $108,800.00 to $181,400.00, depending on the candidate's skills and experience, along with eligibility for an incentive program.
