About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Inventory and Rental Operations to play a pivotal role in the financial and operational performance of the business. The successful candidate will be a visionary and operationally focused leader, responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies, managing the equipment lifecycle, and ensuring that inventory and rental metrics align with business goals. This role demands a data-driven individual with a strong background in dealership operations, particularly in equipment inventory management, and the ability to drive performance across multiple departments and locations.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include overseeing all equipment purchases, rentals, and attachment inventory, leading rental operations, and establishing standardized inventory reporting and controls. The role also involves collaborating with branch managers on inventory flow, managing aged inventory, and supporting executive leadership with business planning and strategic reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 10 years' of management experience in inventory, rental, or equipment operations, and a proven track record in a construction equipment dealership. Strong business acumen, the ability to manage P&L related to inventory and rentals, and experience in equipment transport logistics are essential. The role requires a strategic mindset with a focus on operational execution and the ability to implement and enforce standardized policies and procedures.
