Job Summary
We are expanding our team of professional experts and are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician . This role requires a people person with excellent communication and customer service skills who enjoys working outdoors and with others. Past septic Field Service Technician experience is not necessary, we will provide extensive paid training to the right candidate(s).
A Field Service Technician is responsible for conducting routine inspections, actively diagnosing problems, and resolving septic system issues for our residential and commercial customers. Expertise in using hand and power tools, electrical and septic plumbing troubleshooting is required to perform hands-on septic inspections, maintenance and repair work. You will enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and the satisfaction of helping customers avoid serious health and safety hazards, even though you might get a little dirty sometimes.
Job Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aerobic systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on aerobic systems
- Accurately estimate repairs, pumping etc.
- Perform repairs and replacements of aerobic system parts
- Assist with organization of stock and supply room
- Keep a clean and organized work vehicle
- Occasional assistance in other company departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (1+ years of electrical experience is required)Candidates must have a valid Texas drivers license, be 21+ years of age and have a clear MVR for insurance purposes.Capable of performing physical laborOutdoor work environment and exposure to all climate and weather conditionsCapable of driving for long periods, standing, kneeling, bending and lift up to 30-40 lbs. without assistanceKnowledge of using various hand toolsTroubleshooting and DiagnosticsCritical Thinking and Complex Problem SolvingActive LearningiPhone and iPadDependable and reliable, with a proven track recordWork Context
