About the Role

This position is accountable for installing instrumentation and completing instrumentation operations in TMP Experimental Product Development and Test gas turbine components for Engineering Instrumentation Services.

What You Will Do

• Great attention to detail dealing with small and sensitive parts
• Must be capable of completing detailed work on parts
• Responsible for running complex instrumentation systems during engine and rig test along with post processing data collected in those tests
• Instrumentation Services supports the installation of thermocouples, pressure taps, IMTK crystals and strain gages that will be used to assess an engine's or component's functionality or durability while being tested
• Instrumentation Services also performs modal bench tests and high cycle fatigue tests in order to assist Engineering with the development and validation of Solar Turbines' designs
• Responsible for the installation and removal of engine instrumentation and executing bench tests
• Must be able to work effectively and communicate clearly with others, be able to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

6 Months experience Installing Instrumentation and routing (Pressures and TC's)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IMTK Crystal Installation and Removal

Experience Installing Strain Gages

Experience using complex data acquisition systems

Summary Pay Range :

70,944.00 - $106,416.00
