IT Support Specialist - Windows & Deployment

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of the Windows operating system. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new software packages while providing excellent end-user support. Experience with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) is preferred, as the role will involve assisting with system imaging, software deployments, and workstation setups. This position requires adherence to security and compliance standards, including the ability to pass background screenings necessary for CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) access. Key Responsibilities : Provide frontline technical support to end users, ensuring a positive customer experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Windows operating system, applications, and hardware. Learn and adapt to new software packages as implemented across the organization. Assist with workstation imaging, software deployment, and configuration management using MDT (preferred). Maintain documentation of support processes and technical procedures. Ensure compliance with security standards governing CJIS access. Qualifications : Proven customer service and communication skills. Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software packages. Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (preferred). Must be able to pass all required background screenings for CJIS access.
