Client Overview :

Our client is a leading producer, distributor, importer and marketer in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry based out of New Jersey. This company is rapidly growing and looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment to join their dynamic Accounting Team as an Accounts Payable Clerk .

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$24 / hr – $25 / hr

Position Overview :

The candidates for Accounts Payable Clerk must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Looking for some previous experience, but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk :

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals.
• Matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy.
• Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and reporting.
